Dr. Bronner's

Dr. Bronner's was founded in 1948 by Emanuel Bronner, a third-generation German-Jewish soapmaker, and is still run by his family in Vista, California.

The label's famous 'All-One' philosophy doubles as the mission: fair pay, regenerative organic agriculture, and activism funded by soap.

It makes the iconic 18-in-1 Pure-Castile liquid and bar soaps plus toothpaste, balms, shaving soap, and household cleaners.

Regenerative organic and fair trade supply chains, with profits capped and redirected to causes, set the standard for the industry; the main gap is packaging, where most of the line still ships in plastic, albeit 100 percent recycled.
