Project Drawdown was founded in 2014 by author Paul Hawken and a coalition of researchers to answer one question with math: which climate solutions, deployed together, actually reverse warming? The 2017 book Drawdown became a bestseller by ranking solutions from refrigerant management to educating girls, many of them unglamorous and available now. Today the nonprofit keeps the solution library updated and trains businesses, funders, and communities to act on it. It is the solutions-science reference in our non-profits collection.
