Nii Teiko Tackie
@bone_bwoy
Nii Teiko Tackie is a Ghanaian sustainable fashion designer and upcycler working under his Kintsugi studio, named for the Japanese art of repairing with gold. He turns discarded denim, much of it from the secondhand-clothing flows that end up in Accra, into new garments and bags. Beyond his own pieces he is building a community of upcyclers to take on textile pollution where it lands hardest. He gives our collection its Global South perspective on the waste-stream economy.
