Em's Threads is a women-led studio in South Boston founded by Emily Rourke in 2023, after sewing her way through a pile of textiles that deserved better than a landfill. The studio handcrafts one-of-a-kind upcycled sweatshirts and clothing from diverted fabrics, sold online and at pop-ups along the East Coast. Every piece is singular by construction, not by marketing. It sits in our upcycled-apparel group, young, local, and growing.
