Austin Creative Reuse grew from a volunteer collective founded in the early 2010s into a beloved Texas nonprofit with a simple loop: collect donated creative materials, sell them affordably, teach reuse. Its center takes in fabric, paper, art supplies, and oddments that would otherwise be trashed, and turns the proceeds into education and community programming. Teachers and makers treat it as a supply store with a conscience. It is the creative-reuse model citizen in our non-profits collection.
