Lululemon

About Lululemon

Lululemon was founded in Vancouver, Canada in 1998 by Chip Wilson as a yoga-wear studio and store.

The company's stated mission centers on elevating the world through the power of sport, focused on wellbeing, mindfulness, and gear that helps people move and grow.

It designs and sells technical athletic apparel including leggings, joggers, sports bras and jackets, plus a smaller line of footwear, yoga accessories and personal care items.

The brand set 2025 and 2030 targets for recycled and lower-impact preferred materials and met its recycled polyester goal early. It has since scaled back some 2030 targets, still sources little sustainable nylon, and is not a certified B Corp.
