Wasted* is a Burlington, Vermont public benefit corporation founded by Kim Nace and Abraham Noe-Hays, whose Rich Earth Institute pioneered urine nutrient recycling in the US. The company rents and sells urine-diverting portable toilets across Vermont, Boston, and the Northeast, then recycles the collected urine into fertilizer under the banner we turn pee into plants. Urine carries most of wastewater's nitrogen and phosphorus, so diverting it closes a real nutrient loop. It is the frontier entry of our services collection, circular sanitation made businesslike.
