TerraCycle was founded in 2001 by Tom Szaky, then a Princeton freshman selling worm fertilizer in reused soda bottles, and grew into the global specialist in recycling the unrecyclable. Its Zero Waste Boxes let households and offices send in almost any category curbside programs reject, and its brand partnerships run free national takeback programs for snack wrappers, beauty empties, and more. The Loop reuse platform pushes upstream into refillable packaging. It is the catch-all takeback engine of our services group.
