Too Good To Go launched in Copenhagen in 2016 to attack food waste at closing time: restaurants, bakeries, and grocers list surprise bags of surplus food, and users collect them for about a third of retail price. It has grown into the world's largest marketplace for surplus food, with over 100 million registered users across Europe and North America and hundreds of millions of meals rescued.
