Q for Quinn

About Q for Quinn

Founded in Toronto in 2017 by Melita Cyril, a former derivatives trading and consulting professional, after she could not find chemical-free socks for her son Quinn, who had eczema. It remains a small family-owned business.

Make everyday basics that are safe for sensitive skin and free of chemicals like BPA and parabens, produced ethically, while funding school meals for children in poverty with every purchase.

Socks, underwear, tights, intimates and activewear basics for the whole family, made from GOTS-certified organic cotton and merino wool with OEKO-TEX certified elastics. Price points run roughly $18 to $85.

GOTS-certified organic cotton (Ecocert Greenlife license 256894), RWS merino, azo-free and plant-based dyes, and a biodegradable line replacing synthetic elastics with natural rubber. Made in family-owned fair trade factories in Portugal and India; one item purchased funds one Mary's Meals school meal, with over 500,000 meals donated to date.
