Swappie was founded in Helsinki in 2016 by Sami Marttinen and Jiri Heinonen after Sami got scammed buying a used phone online and decided trust was the missing piece. The company buys used iPhones, refurbishes them in its own facilities, and sells them across Europe with 24-month warranties, doing the quality control in-house instead of brokering. A refurbished iPhone carries a fraction of the manufacturing footprint of a new one. It is the vertically integrated specialist of our refurbished-tech group.
