Sew by Sew is a two-person, husband-and-wife deadstock fabric shop in Los Angeles, run by Sarah, that rescues surplus textiles from the fashion industry before they are landfilled or burned. The fabric sells by the yard, and the feed doubles as a classroom for eco-friendly sewing practices. Deadstock is the sewing world's secondhand: the material exists either way, so using it adds no new production. It is the raw-materials entry in our marketplaces collection.
